The official Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball app was designed, crafted, and developed to elevate the fan experience to a whole new level, bringing together real-time updates, exclusive content, a digital season pass, games, and competitions, all in one place. Built specifically for fans, the app captures the pace, passion, and intensity of the game, offering a seamless way to stay as close as possible to everything happening around the club. Through the app, users can stay up to date with the latest news, watch exclusive content, enjoy a rich VOD library available to registered users, access games directly through the digital season pass, and follow scores, fixtures, and in-depth statistics, all within a fast, intuitive mobile experience.
Designing an app for an international basketball club like Hapoel Tel Aviv, competing at the highest levels, including the EuroLeague meant adapting to a fast-paced, content-heavy ecosystem. On one hand, the goal was to create a clean, precise, and intuitive user experience for a broad fan base. On the other hand, the challenge was to present large volumes of information, live updates, statistics, video content, and news in a clear, structured, and easy-to-consume way. The app also needed to perform seamlessly during live games, supporting real-time usage with fast navigation, high readability, and immediate responsiveness. At the same time, we had to design a flexible content structure that enables the club’s team to efficiently manage and update content, while maintaining long-term performance and a smooth user experience.
We delivered an end-to-end solution, combining UX strategy, UI design, and mobile app development. Built with React Native and optimized for both iOS and Android, the app is based on a modular architecture that allows for easy future expansion. The focus was on speed, clarity, and usability, creating a strong information hierarchy tailored to different moments: before, during, and after games. The result is a modern sports app that delivers a fast, engaging, and connected experience for Hapoel Tel Aviv basketball fans, while providing the club with a powerful platform to strengthen fan engagement and grow its digital presence.
