THE YEAR OF IoT

This year was definitely the year of the Internet of Things!
I've been working with new exciting products from various industries, like the recently nominated TOTY award ("Oscar" of the toys) SmART Sketcher: a product that guides kids on how to illustrate and write, the award-winning ContinUse Biometrics: a contactless bio-sensing technology that recently collaborated with Lenovo and Motorola Mobility to showcase a mobile health solution, and finally: Stanley Black & Decker, for whom I designed a new app for their DeWalt brand.

Have an interesting product that needs a UX touch from a Pro?

Let's work together!

Hello, India!

In March, I was invited alongside my dear colleague Dana by the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, IIT Bombay to give 2 workshops on UX fundamentals and user research basics. The workshops took place at the Institute of Technology in Mumbai and at Intel's new campus in Bangalore.

The startups are focused on physical device technology and come from various disciplines such as health, transportation, clean-tech, and environment. The program is also supported by the Indian government department of science and technology.

During the workshops, we guided the startups through the agile UX research process and guided them to ask their users the right sort of questions so they could discover their motivations and needs. During the mentoring sessions, we reviewed the current user experience of their products, identified potential challenges, gave them actionable improvements and raised up new business opportunities.

Google Launchpad TLV

I had a blast mentoring startups from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and IDC Herzliya at Google Launchpad Tel-Aviv in June. During the 1:1 mentoring sessions I reviewed the current state of their products, offered them tips on how to tackle their challenges and how to improve the experience of their users.

Design Sprinting at Google TLV

The last Design Sprint for 2017 took place at Google Campus TLV, this time for LogMeIn, GradTrain & SaferVPN. The companies were extremely satisfied. The sprint helped them to make a structured brainstorming, solve challenges together as a team, as well as empowering each one of them as an individual.
